I’ve always known that I love photographing details. It’s no secret 🙂 But I never really thought about enjoying photographing food. Do I love food? Duh. But usually at weddings it’s difficult to shoot food looking it’s best because it’s being enjoyed! So when A Catered Affair asked me to shoot their tasty dishes, I was so excited. And excitement turned into hunger as all this delicious smelling food was right under my nose on an empty stomach! Thankfully they cater a lot of the weddings that I shoot so I get to enjoy it on a regular basis 🙂

A Catered Affair offers midnight snacks which are a huge hit at weddings where the party keeps rockin. LOVE the cookies & milk! Sliders and sweet potato fries, yum! And of course I couldn’t leave without shooting one of their gorgeous cakes (The Bake Shoppe) ! They were decorating this before the shoot began and I hung out for a while watching the girls, like a live episode of Ace of Cakes 🙂 And the magical florals of Enchanted Florist set out for a tasting!
